The Relationship Between Diet and Major Depressive Disorder

For this final assignment, our professor asked us to write a research paper that included a 1-2-page summary (APA style including at least 10 references) of a debate in the study of mood disorders. The final paper had to include a 1-2 page summary of our own original writing. The other 5-6 pages were an exploration of how we would go about addressing the gap in the literature (i.e., a proposed study) . The final paper came out to be 6-8 pages double-spaced (not including references), using APA formatting and Times New Roman font.

This research paper held similar requirements students see in the majority of their college classes. For this assignment, I picked to write about the relationship between one's diet and major depressive disorder. Being a fan of health and wellness, I was excited to write about such an important topic all while meeting the requirments and learning something new.
